Before performing your nasal irrigation, choose the right syringe goes a long way. Most syringes available in your local pharmacy stores works with Klean&Kare Nasal Adaptor, however, there are a few types of syringes which may not work with Klean&Kare Nasal Adaptor.
Luer-slip syringe has a straight slim tip which fits perfectly with Klean&Kare Nasal Adaptor. It is the most common syringe available in your local pharmacy stores. Luer-lock syringe which has a screw-type connection, and catheter-tip syringe which has a longer tapered tip, however, do not work with Klean&Kare Nasal Adaptor.

Sizes typically range from 2 to 100 mL.
You should choose the right syringe size for your nasal cavity. For adults, with an average size of nasal cavity at 29-44 cc(1), a 20-50 mL syringe is recommended. For young children, a 5 mL syringe is recommended.
