Normal saline solution is isotonic to the body fluid. It does not irritate or sting nasal passages when performing nasal irrigation. Using pure water for nasal irrigation may cause stinging and burning of nasal passages, and trigger cough reflex. When choosing normal saline solution, make sure the product is sterile for your safety, and to prevent secondary infection.

The solution in all 3 products are the same, which is 0.9% sodium chloride solution. They are all sterile isotonic normal saline products, and can be used interchangeably.
The cone-tip bottle is designed to reduce the chance of contamination during use. It can be used for 30 days after opening. The wide-mouth bottle is designed for rapid use, such as in the hospital’s ER. It has a higher chance of contamination for its wider opening. It should be discarded 7 days after first use. The normal saline solution in both the cone-tip bottle and the wide-mouth bottle are free of preservatives, so you should close the cap immediately after use to reduce the chance of contamination. Do not touch the tip of the bottle to any surface. For wide-mouth bottle, do not put any equipment or device into the solution. Choose the right bottle type and size for your usage to minimize waste.
Normal saline solution can be used as facial toner to help remove any excess dirt and trace of makeup and oil, or clean your face after acne and comedone treatment.
The cone-tip bottle can be used for 30 days after opening. Follow these 5 easy steps for opening the cone-tip bottle: Twist off cap > Discard green ring > Twist on cap to break seal > Ready to use > Close cap to store Important!! Do not open bottle with other sharp objects such as scissors, cutter, knife, screw and nail. These foreign objects can contaminate the solution since the product is free of preservatives.
